Jaap, Robin, and Daan successfully completed their Master’s degrees in Corporate Law at Leiden University and the University of Amsterdam after obtaining their Bachelor’s degrees in Law. After obtaining their master’s degrees, they had various encounters with the legal profession, ranging from legal practice to consultancy. What struck them is that there is still a significant gap between the general public and legal services in this country. Engaging a lawyer often presents a high threshold, and government-funded service providers are limited in availability, which can lead to cases being mishandled and subsequently turning into legal problems.

To bridge the gap between individuals seeking legal advice and the accessibility of such services, they joined forces. They aim to resolve issues at an early stage and offer legal services at an affordable rate by employing exceptional master’s students. When selecting these students, diversity and inclusiveness are emphasized alongside excellence. L.A.W. is dedicated not only to every client but also to every master’s student.
